Our Services
Putting Clients First
Addiction Treatment
Quality Care
Addiction treatment can be an overwhelming idea but we are here for you. In group and individual sessions, you will learn coping skills to use in your everyday life. You will also work with your counselor to address the root cause of your substance use. We have both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment and Outpatient (OP) treatment.
Medication Assisted Treatment
Getting the help you need
To assist our clients struggling with Opioid Use Disorder we are now offering Sublocade(R), a long-acting injection, given once a month to block the rewarding effects of opioids.
Buprenorphine is delivered at sustained levels. This means that the levels of buprenorphine in the blood stay consistent throughout the month.

These services are provided with our IOP program. After treatment is completed, clients will continue receiving services, with the end goal of being tapered off the medication.
Mental Health Counseling
A Happier, Healthier You
Sometimes you need to just talk with someone. We can help you learn coping skills to manage your mental health symptoms.
Parenting Classes
Live life as a sober parent
For our parenting program, we utilize the Nurturing Parenting Program curriculum. The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.
Dual Diagnosis Group
Managing Your Symptoms
Many times substance use disorders and mental health symptoms occur at the same time. In our program, you are able to address both issues in a safe caring group environment. This program also includes individual counseling with your primary counselor.
Psychiatric and medication services are provided by our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Anger Management
A Calmer You
Anger can sometimes take over our lives causing us to have severe consequences. At NVU, we provide an anger management class that is geared towards individuals that have substance abuse and mental health conditions. The course consists of 1 session a week for 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks, you will receive a certificate of completion.
Case Management
Here for You
Life stressors can be a trigger for relapse therefore we provide case management services to walk you through those everyday life problems. We are here to link you to services in your community, such as housing, food, healthcare, diapers, and clothing just to name a few.  As part of the treatment program at NVU each client has a case management assessment to pinpoint areas where we can help.
